How it works
Relimb supports patients, referrers and case managers who need a clearer route into specialist assessment. The exact pathway depends on the case, but the aim is always the same: understand the problem properly, review the available information, and advise on the most appropriate next step.
Make an enquiryYou can contact the team directly, or ask a clinician, case manager or family member to do so on your behalf.
We review the information available and advise on the most appropriate next step. In some cases that may be a clinic appointment. In others it may be a taster clinic, further information, or guidance on referral.
If you attend clinic, the assessment focuses on the wider picture: your history, current symptoms, function, previous treatment and goals.
We explain what options may be available, what they involve and what realistic outcomes may look like.
The next step may involve treatment with Relimb, further review, or advice on another route if that is more appropriate.
If treatment with Relimb goes ahead, surgical planning, rehabilitation and follow-up are considered together from the outset.
After you get in touch, the team reviews your situation and advises on the right next step. That might be a consultation, a taster clinic, a request for more information first, or guidance on how best to proceed.
If you are unsure whether Relimb is the right place to start, it is still reasonable to contact the team. We can help you work out the most appropriate route.
