Our main base for specialist limb reconstruction and osseointegration consultations. Private and NHS pathways both available, serving patients from across the UK.
Relimb is based in the Private Patients Unit at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, north London. The Royal Free is one of the UK's leading teaching hospitals and the home of our limb reconstruction service since 2018.
Consultations take place on the 12th floor of the main building, where our team has access to specialist imaging, theatre facilities, and the full multidisciplinary resource of a major NHS trust. Patients come from across the UK — some travelling from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland — making London the natural centre for complex case management that requires multiple specialties to collaborate.
Both private and NHS pathways are available. NHS patients are accepted via GP referral. Private patients can self-refer or be referred by their insurer. If you are unsure which pathway applies to you, our clinic coordinator can advise.
Mr Alexander Woollard and Mr Norbert Kang, our lead consultant surgeons, see patients at the Royal Free. Both hold consultant posts at the hospital and have dedicated clinical sessions within the Relimb service.
For full directions, accessibility information, and inside-hospital navigation to our clinic floor, see our detailed directions page.
Use our enquiry form to request an appointment or ask a question before booking. The Relimb team will follow up by email with the next step, and if you do not hear from us within 72 hours, please feel free to call.
