Continuing care, follow-up and support

Practical information for people already under the care of the Relimb team. Find appointment guidance, contact routes, rehabilitation information and useful links.

Practical support

This page is for people already under the care of the Relimb team. It brings together practical information and useful links. Your appointment letters and agreed care plan remain the primary guide for the specifics of your care.

My RFL Care patient portal

My RFL Care may be relevant if your care is being delivered through the Royal Free London and you have an eligible outpatient appointment. It is a secure online portal where registered patients can view and manage outpatient appointments, receive direct messages, complete questionnaires, view test results, and access letters and documents.

Joining My RFL Care is optional. If you are not registered, the hospital will continue to communicate with you by post and phone.

Change or cancel an appointment

Some outpatient appointments can be managed through My RFL Care. If the option to change or cancel is not available there, follow the instructions on your appointment letter or use the contact details for the department responsible for your care.

Your original appointment letter remains the best source for service-specific contact details and location information.

Patient stories and research

Read how other patients describe treatment, recovery and life afterwards, and browse selected research publications linked to the service.

Ongoing care and rehabilitation

Follow-up and rehabilitation vary depending on your treatment and your stage of recovery. Your appointment letters and agreed care plan remain the best guide for the specifics. If something changes or you are unsure, contact the team.
